The toolkit outlines an overview of violence against women and its different forms, and then it connects violence against women to other pressing global problems, including HIV/AIDS, poverty, war and conflict.

Third Global Interfaith Youth Network E- NEWSLETTER!

We are delighted to introduce to you our third Religions for Peace GIYN E- newsletter. The Religions for Peace GIYN Newsletter is published on a quarterly basis and features stories from our national, regional and global interfaith youth networks and affiliates,  as well as personal stories, organizational updates and interfaith news.The newsletter functions as an information sharing platform to communicate more effectively among religious youth leaders at local, national, regional and international levels.

Religions for Peace, European Interfaith Youth Network (RfP, EIYN)  is a Non-for Profit network of organizations which exists only thanks to the generous support from private donors and foundations. As a young but very active and developing network, this year we specially need your support. We celebrate this year 5th anniversary of establishing our network. We planned then special interfaith  youth encounter to take place later this year,  and other activities for our “Restoring Dignity” campaign against the violence against women and in the disarmament field. Interreligious youth launch “Restoring Dignity, Religious Youth Say “NO” To Violence Against Women” campaign in Bosnia-Herzegovina.

EIYN’s member organization – youth group of Interreligious Council in Bosnia and Herzegovina “All Together” launched, in partnership with Religions for Peace Global Interfaith Youth Network, first initiative of youth “Restoring Dignity” campaign in Europe!  The event took place on February 25, 2013, in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina (B&H).

100 people took part in all-day long event that included:  training course for youth, promotion of Bosnian edition of “Restoring Dignity” toolkit, and panel discussion with speakers from largest religious institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Continue reading
